Someone draining us, a bad vibe, an energetic cord we need to cut. But sometimes we’re the ones keeping the connection going. 👀 We’re replaying conversations, looking for another sign, booking another reading or holding onto things that keep dragging us back into the past. And then wondering why we feel so bloody drained. Now, I’m all for energy work. Obviously. 😂 But I also think it’s worth asking yourself where your attention is going throughout the day. Because you can cleanse your energy, cut the cords and do all the rituals you like, but if you’re still giving something hours of your attention, there’s probably something worth looking at. But then three days later you’re stalking them on Insta 😂 or going on a rabbit hole to find out what they’re doing. And then you have an entire argument with them in your head while you’re washing the dishes. Sound familiar? 😂 I work with energetic cords. I’m not saying don’t cut them. Cord cutting can be really powerful, and is sometimes very, very necessary. But you can’t keep reopening a connection and then wonder why you’re struggling to let go. Sometimes it’s not about needing another cord-cutting ritual. It’s about asking yourself why you’re still checking. What are you hoping to see? That they miss you? That they’ve moved on? That they haven’t? And perhaps the more uncomfortable question is what you’ll actually have to face when you stop looking. I’m all for doing the energetic work.
